Arnold Hoffman
Arnold Hoffman is a retired senior managing director of the investment banking division of Legg Mason, Wood Walker, Inc. A 1957 Penn State graduate of the College of the Liberal Arts, he presently serves as a member of the board of directors of several companies in the distribution, computer software, general manufacturing and biotechnical support service industries. In addition, he is Chairman of the Executive Committee and past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life in Horsham PA. (Formerly the Philadelphia Geriatric Center.) He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Florida West Coast Symphony in Sarasota, FL.
Arn is a Penn State Distinguished Alumni, Alumni Fellow, and served as Chairman of the Development Council for the College of the Liberal Arts for seven years. He was also a member of the executive committee of the Grand Destiny Campaign for Penn State.
Arn and his wife Bette ( HHD,’59) live in Sarasota Florida, and spend summers in Haverford PA. Arn is a devoted fly fisherman and enjoys golf.
